Group Service Opportunity – Embracing Our Differences
February 11, 2026 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
We’re excited to share another meaningful volunteer opportunity with Embracing Our Differences! Together, we’ll be helping prepare books for their Annual Reading Day—a special project that directly impacts students and educators across our community.
In partnership with Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, Embracing Our Differences is gearing up for their 12th Annual Reading Day where pre-selected age appropriate books will be read aloud and gifted to students in pre-k through third grade classrooms in Manatee & Sarasota Counties. This day celebrates literacy through a wide variety of books that focus on themes of inclusion, kindness, and respect, stimulating conversations about what we share and what makes us unique. They are in need of extra hands to help prepare these books for shipment to schools.
