Embracing Our Differences – Reading Day

What: Volunteers to Read in-person at Local Classrooms
When:
- Tuesday, November 18, 2025
- (Times will vary based on volunteer and school assignments.)
Training: A virtual training will be provided on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 5:00–6:00 PM.
👉 Can’t make it? No worries — it will be recorded and available to watch later at your convenience.
Where:
- All Sarasota County school slots are already filled.
- Manatee County still has 7 schools with multiple openings waiting for our help!

👉 When registering, be sure to indicate that you are with “The Lake Club” so you can be paired with at least one other TLC member. Ride share assignments will be coordinated from there.
🚗 Carpooling
Once assignments are finalized, carpools will be set up to make it easy and fun to travel together.
This is such a rewarding experience — not only for the children, but also for us as volunteers. Spots are filling quickly, so don’t wait to register! – ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED.
