The committee determines operations, logistics, timelines, engaging vendors, donors and sponsors, coordinating volunteers, selling tickets, maintaining records and requires support from the finance, social media and communication committees for marketing plans, and others as needed for such events. The budget is built by the fundraising committee with input from its members and from other committee chairs, while determining incoming goals with the intention to raise sufficient funds to meet our mission.

Grants

The grants committee is responsible for assessing the amount available to grant annually. Distribution of grant applications are made to potential grant applicants. Evaluation of completed grant applications are then performed annually to determine if the applicant meets the mission of the circle as well as the grant award criteria, this process can include visiting applicant locations, meeting with applicant representatives, reviewing applicant materials and taking such other actions that the grant committee believes is necessary or helpful in its assessment of applicants. The committee then makes recommendations to our members.
