Event: Packing Food Boxes for Distribution, Focus on Lake Club Teen Service
Calling All Lake Club Teens, members and parents: Join us in helping fight hunger right here in our community. During this meaningful service project with All Faiths Food Bank, Teen volunteers , members and parents will help pack food boxes that directly support local families facing food insecurity. All Faiths Food Bank is the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization serving Sarasota and DeSoto counties. Through strong community partnerships and innovative programs, they provide millions of meals each year while also working toward long-term solutions that help families achieve stability and self-sufficiency. By volunteering, you will: • Make a direct and immediate impact on families in need • Connect with fellow Teens, parents and Giving Circle members through service • Teens will earn Service Credits for time worked!!! Support one of our region’s most impactful nonprofit organizations This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours giving back while strengthening the spirit of service that defines our Giving Circle. We hope you will join us!
We will be packing a variety of dry and canned food items into boxes for distribution to families

Additional Information:
Must wear closed toe shoes. Will need to be able to lift 10 lbs.
Carpool departure will be from the lower level go the Lake Club parking lot.
Persons who are not registered with All Faiths Food Bank must first register with the food bank before signing up for this event (those who are first time volunteers for AFFB or those that have not volunteered at AFFB prior to this event). Once registered with the All Faiths food Bank as a volunteer, you may sign up for the event on the TLCWGC event sign up page. Go to the event, page down and click on sign up.
