The Making Strides movement builds a supportive community for courageous survivors, metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families. 

By supporting our Making Strides event this fall, you help the American Cancer Society:

Invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research to better understand, prevent, detect, and treat the disease.

Provide essential services such as free rides to cancer treatments, a home away from home near hospitals, a 24/7 cancer helpline, and much more.

Assist in reducing breast cancer risk and improving early detection when treatment is most effective.

Last year, our community raised nearly $18,000, making us the third most successful team in Sarasota/Manatee. This year, we’re aiming even higher and need your support to reach our goal.

Join us for the First Annual TLC Hand, Knee & Foot Tournament on Thursday, September 26th at The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse, located at 15804 Clearlake Avenue, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Enjoy a day filled with fun activities, including a lunch and silent auction from 12-1 PM, followed by the Round Robin HKF Tournament at 1:15 PM. The day wraps up with a Happy Hour at 4:30 PM.

The entry fee is $50, payable to The American Cancer Society. Payments can be dropped off at Wendy Fox’s or Marti Jepsky’s homes.
