DESCRIPTION:Organization Name: All Faiths Food Bank\, Inc. Event: Join us in helping fight hunger right here in our community. During this meaningful service project with All Faiths Food Bank\, volunteers will help pack food boxes that directly support local families facing food insecurity.  All Faiths Food Bank is the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization serving Sarasota and DeSoto counties. Through strong community partnerships and innovative programs\, they provide millions of meals each year while also working toward long-term solutions that help families achieve stability and self-sufficiency.  By volunteering\, you will: • Make a direct and immediate impact on families in need • Connect with fellow Giving Circle members through service • Support one of our region’s most impactful nonprofit organizations  This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours giving back while strengthening the spirit of service that defines our Giving Circle. We hope you will join us!We will be packing a variety of dry and canned food items into boxes for distribution to families \n Event Date: April 2\, 2026   Start Time: 8:30 AM – End Time: 11:30 AM Carpool Departure Time: 8:00 AM Number of Attendees: 20 Who Can Attend: Members\, Prospective Members\, Spouses/Significant Others Additional Information: Please wear closed toe shoes.  Will need to be able to lift 10 pounds. \n Lunch Information: Both carpooling and reservations for the 11:45 after event lunch at Coopers Hawk Restaurant (about 5 minutes from All Faiths Food Bank) 3130 Fruitville Common Blvd\, Sarasota will be coordinated 1 week prior to the event via text to all those signed up to attend. \n Information About Charity:Together with our partners\, we provide healthy solutions to end hunger in our community.
