DESCRIPTION:What:  Volunteers to Read in-person at Local Classrooms \n\n\n\nWhen: \n\n\n\n\nTuesday\, November 18\, 2025\n\n\n\n(Times will vary based on volunteer and school assignments.)\n\n\n\n\nTraining:  A virtual training will be provided on Wednesday\, November 5\, 2025 from 5:00–6:00 PM. \n\n\n\n👉 Can’t make it? No worries — it will be recorded and available to watch later at your convenience. \n\n\n\nWhere: \n\n\n\n\nAll Sarasota County school slots are already filled.\n\n\n\nManatee County still has 7 schools with multiple openings waiting for our help!\n\n\n\n\n✅ How to Register\n\n\n\nPlease sign up directly through Embracing Our Differences at the link below. \n\n\n\n👉 When registering\, be sure to indicate that you are with “The Lake Club” so you can be paired with at least one other TLC member. Ride share assignments will be coordinated from there. \n\n\n\n🚗 Carpooling\n\n\n\nOnce assignments are finalized\, carpools will be set up to make it easy and fun to travel together. \n\n\n\nThis is such a rewarding experience — not only for the children\, but also for us as volunteers.
